Over the years, we have experienced many historical events together with Hong Kong, from the transition to Chinese sovereignty in 1997, the SARS epidemic in 2003, the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong in 2019-2020, and of course the COVID pandemic in Hong Kong and China, which practically stopped entries and exits to these countries almost completely. After each such crisis, we witnessed the power of the enormous Chinese locomotive that can move the entire Eastern economy forward.
